Pros: Playing this game on my iPhone is a hell of a lot different than playing on a console system. My review about this version is pretty much the same as the one already reviewed, so I won't bore you, but it's interesting to note the difference between console and smart phone.

It feels like you're playing on the Dreamcast when you're playing this game because of all the original music, sound effects, etc. that come along with the package. You start off with a select amount of characters, and then more will emerge after completing the game. In terms of the actual game itself, please feel free to read my review on it.

Cons: You're only working on a screen with your smart phone, so the controls are right there on the screen, as opposed to an actual, playable controller that eliminates all of the buttons and commands on screen, making it easier to see everything. That's one flaw to playing it on your iPhone; another is accessing your power moves. It shouldn't be so hard to execute one without having to press every single one, and then hoping to God that somewhere along the line, your prayers will be answered in the form of a triple killer. The fluidity of the graphics are a little bit choppy, but it's like playing a time machine. However, I love the game on any platform, so, no matter what, this game is "gonna take you on a RIDE!"

Pros: This app, like most apps, is a great time-killer, where the object of the game is to zip across a 2D side-scrolling laboratory stage on your trusty jetpack, while dodging electro-light barriers and anything else that detracts you from racking up multiple points, coins (for the prize slot machine) and additional power-ups that advances your jetpack, or takes the form of another point-racking vessel, whether it be a raging motor-bike a la Ghost Rider, or a special gravity suit that lets you rack up coins either on the ground or ceiling. Along the way, you'll encounter little lab guys that you can easy take down with the ammo that seems to pour out of the jetpack, killing them instantly. Even though they don't hurt you, they could help you break scoring records and power-ups. Your only control is your finger, in which you need to tap the screen in order to keep the hero airborne. Easy enough, as mentioned before, you need to dodge any obstacles that come your way, or you risk having to do the lesson over, unless you've advanced far enough that a checkpoint can save you.

Pros: A simple premise that also counts as addicting, Temple Run is a fun game that pretty much fuels you up with excitement, as if you were watching all the high-speed run scenes in action movies, a la Indiana Jones. The controls are simple as well, as they only require your leading man to slide, jump, and sharply turn, with running as your automatic necessity. After progressing about 10 seconds worth of running, it feels as if it starts to get faster with every turn, making the timing just as hard or merely impossible to execute. You're already racking up points anyway - even if you're not doing anything - and the collectable yellow emblems contribute to said point racking. But you're not running through the ancient temple ruins just for fun: you are being chased by equally-faster apes that creep on your every move. It's a casual game that has action, speed, and possible nausea, all of which provide the makings of a classic time-killer.

Cons: While the obstacles are simple and switched up a bit, the scenery itself does get boring after a while, and it would've been great if our running hero had the ability to fight off the raging apes behind him, but alas, we only have speed for him to rely on. Pros: Pictionary has taken the form of Draw Something, an awesome game for the artistically-inclined (or challenged) that lets the player be both the artist and the guesser. The choices to draw and let draw range from "puck" to "family" to "Korea" and the amount of colors help the player out immensely when trying to get the other player to guess every detail of the picture until they get it right. It's even more fun when your friends try to guess what you drew for them, and the amount of guesses they come up with will leave you laughing.

Pros: It's your typical "control your rapid fire space ship and defeat as many enemies as you can" game, where you, as aforementioned, control a cute space ship where your unlimited, rapid-fire ammo is your best friend, and bombs help you along the way against a plethora of enemy space ships. It's pretty much like 1942, except in the future. Oooooooooooooh!

Because the ammo comes out of the ship automatically, your trigger-happy finger can rest and let your thumb move around your ship in this vertically-scrolled time killer. Levels pass and the power-ups become more obtainable - albeit more kick-ass-able - and the enemies get bigger and badder. This game is a throwback to the games that have that classic element of kill, kill, kill. It looks like something that could have been played on Nick Arcade. I can hear the theme song now.

Cons: Beside it's simple graphics and even simpler gameplay, there isn't much to it. What else do you expect from a game like this? It's like trying to get your cat to talk: it could happen, but you'd be just as happy if it purred and looked at you funny, because that's what they do, and while you can't feed, pet, or stroke this game, it's a game that shouldn't be taken for granted, even if you're expecting high-quality explosive graphics. It's just a game to pass the time away, no harm done. Hence, it's a great game that has my vote.

Pros: Even though my birthday was two days ago, one of the best presents I ever received was Angry Birds Space. I thought that receiving updates on existing Angry Birds games was good enough - more levels for me - but a new game is a completely different story, albeit a better one. In this version, the birds are back in town, but not without coming equipped with special abilities - and different colors - that are more suited for space than the safari or Rio. For example, the triangular-shaped bird - once yellow, now purple - gives players the power to access lock-on targeting for a more accurate blow, and a new Ice Bird freezes anything in its path, making it more susceptible for bigger damage, and even bigger scores. Instead of stationary settings, the levels consist of planets, each possessing their own gravitational pull that gives players a chance to give their birds an angle to pull, aim, and shoot in new directions, again, making way for more creative ways to damage the pigs and their property. New animation stills also provide the player with nice background story fit for the fighter battling the final frontier. These birds take flight to a whole other level, and make way for a lot more puns to be made.

Cons: Nothing bad about this version, yet. An updated version on a modern classic, Angry Birds Space still provide the same pros and cons of the previous entries in the series. A favorite for any fan.
