Pros: First off, I got this game for the Wii. Probably not the best game, but it was kind of like a realistic version of Mario Kart. You basically have to race other cars while using items such as boost, cruise control, repairs, shock waves, and others to help maneuver around opponents and the police.
The controls are pretty straight forward, hold the WiiMote sideways just like in any racing game (add a wheel to enhance effects) and drive away.
It’s pretty cool to be able to buy a large assortment of cars and be able to customize them, but it is only to a certain extend. (Ex. you only have a choice of a few colors.)
Another nice thing about this game is that there aren’t just the regular lap races. They also have an elimination mode (every 30 seconds the last place racers get eliminated), and a rush hour mode (100 racers and you have to reach the checkpoints in a certain allotted time).
Cons: I'm not sure if it's just for the Wii, here was no storyline at all. It was pretty much, race, get money, buy upgrades and cars, and repeat. When it comes to graphics, they are not the best. This is expected coming from Wii, and there are definitely other racing games out there that give players a more realistic racing experience. Don't get me wrong, the game is still fun, just don't get this for the Wii unless you enjoy racing with a wheel rather than a controller.
