Pros: Continuing on the "Oh snap! This takes me back!" theme from last week's entry, X-Men the arcade game was another example why I love the arcade, as well as these types of games that show what classic multiplayer is all about. In the vein of such arcade favorites like The Simpsons, you choose as either Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Jubilee, or Colossus, and use your appropriate abilities on the endless army of sentinel robots that disrupt you and the rest of your teammates in your journey to beat the all-synonymous "bad guy", whom I can't remember exactly, but it's the general object of the game, so what else is new. This game was a precursor to some of the more interactive multiplayer games that probably feature more superpower abilities as well as general fighting abilities. Although, at the time this was released, I was impressed at Storm's cyclone and Cyclops' optic blast...

Cons: There could've been a more expansive story and more of a variety of characters to choose from, but from when this was released, it was a pretty damn good game.

Pros: A nice little treat for the Xbox Live community, this fun little side-scrolling "beat 'em up" boasts a fun multiplayer experience (4 local, with the potential for 2 additional players to join your game via Xbox Live). It's basically your run of the mill nostalgic side-scroller, but there are some nice features here. You have the option to player either the USA or Japanese versions of the game (the only main difference is in the subtitles, but I believe the number of lives and uses of special attacks vary). You can choose from 6 different characters in the fight against Magneto, each of whom has his or her own unique special abilities: Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Nightcrawler, Dazzler, and Colossus. There's a boss at the end of each level, so no surprises there. The overall game itself can easily be completed within a half hour. Even on the expert difficulty, this game is not very...

Cons: Some of the achievements were glitchy and did not register even though I completed them. The overall gameplay time is just about 30 minutes and does not justify the $10 price tag on Xbox Live.
