Pros: Like the average partygoer who has just heard a song from back in the day - 'the day' being sometime in the 90's - this one deserves an "Ohhh SNAP!" or the classic "This was my jam, son!" Yes, son of none-said father, this was one of my many jams that I rocked out in a number of the arcades that I have frequented - at the expense of my parents - when I was younger.
I was never a avid watcher of The Simpsons unlike many of my peers when the show was in its prime, so I resorted to playing the video games that helped me guide through the crazy shenanigans that occur in Springfield.
The premise for this game is basic: The family are enjoying a nice day when Homer runs into Smithers, the latter having a diamond that flies up in the air an falls into the hands - or mouth - of baby Maggie, who is taken from the goon himself, and now it's up to the rest of the Simpson clan to to get her...
Cons: There really isn't anything I can poke at in terms of this game. I mean, it was for the arcade machine, come on, people! You can criticize controller use, it's a frickin' joystick! But, all in all, a great game and a joyous nostalgia trip.

Throughout multiple levels, you control either Homer, Marge, Bart, or Lisa and use their respective weapons and strengths to knock away the bad guys in blue suits, or any other adversary pertaining to that level. The multiplayer function allows up to four to play, and you can utilize nearby objects to take out your enemies in numbers. Special power-ups that revive your health and grant you invisibility are also scattered throughout the level. And, of course, there's always the big, bad boss that you have to eliminate before you can advance. It's wholesome, clean fun for the whole family, even for people who don't watch the show.
