Pros: This game will always be the reason why I love this series, as it was a precursor to many of the adventure, shoot-'em-up, RPG's that emphasized the 'open' in 'open world'.
First, the basics: The graphics are pretty well done, considering that it was released in 2002. Who am I kidding? This game had great graphics! You can kill, cut, and run over whoever, and whenever, as you listen to your favorite jams from a variety of the games' stations. Grand Theft Auto III is a love letter to any gamer, as well as the brooding vigilante that secretly wants to cut a bitch. Technologically speaking, of course.
